Fee Basis for Professional Services

The Susquehanna Group LLC requires a signed consultant contract with all clients.  Our Insurance Carrier will
not permit us to engage in providing any services without a signed contract on file.

We have
two basic methods of billing our clients for all professional services rendered.

The first is by a
Project or Job.  Under this schedule, we carefully determine and agree on the work to be
accomplished, establish a time-line for completion of the project and issue a "Not To Exceed" Cost Estimate.
With this method the client always knows what fees or expenses will be incurred for consulting services from
inception to job completion.

Of course, should the scope of the project change, a new contract may be required.

The Second method of billing for our clients is by
Retainer.  Under our Retainer method we meet with the client
to determine needs and projected usage of our services during a given time frame, usually one year.  With this
method, we guarantee that a consultant is dedicated to the sole use of the client for a predefined number of
hours either per week, month, quarter or year.  Because we can project our salary costs in advance, we can
offer our clients a discount of up to fifty percent over our normal fee schedule for this service. Clients who
routinely utilize the services of a consultant prefer this method of contract.

All Travel by the Consultant's personnel is accomplished in accordance with our corporate travel policies,
which closely mirror government travel requirements.  Prospective clients are invited to request a copy of our
travel policy from our sales department.

  • System Design and Technical Assistance:
We are non-product affiliated consultants.  We will provide equipment  best suited for a specific application with all consideration to
budget restrictions.  Countless hours are spent by staff every year reviewing and testing all types of security devices to ensure cutting
edge technologies are employed by us in the design and layout of each project.

  • Bid and Specification Writing:
Governmental Agencies and Business desiring assistance in the preparation of bid documents and associated specifications my
look to our skilled staff of professionals. Complex integrated systems can be developed by us to meet the most demanding client.
Specifications can be prepared and transmitted to either the client or sent to their list of proposed contractors.  TSG will also assist the
agency or business in sourcing vendors to compete for the proposed project.

  • Site Surveys:
Fee based site surveys can be performed for clients desiring to determine needs for establishing or enhancing security requirements
for their facilities.  These objective observations reduce the opportunity for vendors selling the client more or less security than is
needed for their specific application.

  • Project Management and Cost Forecasting:
We provide industry specific project management and cost forecasting services for those clients who lack the resources to properly
manage their security projects.  These services are only available to clients who have previously retained our services to design or
specify the system(s) being installed.

Personnel have been trained and certified to design facilities to the highest standards developed by the International CPTED
Association.  We work closely with Architects and Engineers to employ these technologies where possible in the design and
construction of any new or refurbished facility.
